Map: Kingdom of the Netherlands, Netherlands and Holland

Map: Kingdom of the Netherlands, Netherlands and Holland
This map shows the distinction between the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Netherlands and Holland. The Kingdom of the Netherlands consists of four constituent countries: the Netherlands, Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten. The Netherlands itself includes the mainland in Europe, divided into twelve provinces, as well as the Caribbean Netherlands (Bonaire, Saba and Sint Eustatius). Holland refers specifically to the two provinces of North Holland and South Holland. The map also displays all Dutch provinces and Caribbean islands with their respective flags, along with the flag and coat of arms of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
Amsterdam is the constitutional capital of both the Kingdom and the Netherlands, while The Hague serves as the seat of government for both. Oranjestad is the capital of Aruba, Willemstad is the capital of Curaçao, and Philipsburg is the capital of Sint Maarten.
